At the closing ceremony of the National Festival of Sheikh Bahai Technology Entrepreneurship, Ava Communications won the Trophy, cash prize and a scholarship at the Iranian Business School, after three days of judgment sessions. Before that, Ava Communications had also won the Festival and received a Golden Thanks Plaque and cash award in the group of grown technology entrepreneurs. The ceremony was held by the UN and attended by the Deputy Secretary-General of UNESCO.
It is nearly 100 years that we are looking for resources and capital under the ground, unaware of the fact that our major resources are on the ground. Human resources, particularly entrepreneurs and technology entrepreneurs, are the most important and valuable asset and wealth of each nation and it is time to to help Iran's progress by supporting entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs, said Rouzbeh Pirooz, a member of the jury, at the closing ceremony of the National Festival of Sheikh Bahai Technology Entrepreneurship and before granting the ceremony award to, Dr. Anooshiravan Marat, Ava Communications’ CEO.
CEO of Iran’s Industrial Development Investment Co. said: this award is named in memory of my grandfather, Asadolah Pirooz. A person who lived more than 90 years and lived through many ups and downs. He taught me that one should be optimistic about success and never violate ethical principles. All of us must walk in the right way, and let's not forget that the most important thing in achieving success is pursuing desires. Despite all of opposition and obstacles, we should not be afraid and continue our way.
Pirooze award 2013 was granted to Ava Communications for having an advanced technology, large market and foreign competitors, as well as significant growth in business. Rouzbeh Pirooz, one of veteran entrepreneurs in Iran, founder and president of the founding board of the Iranian Business School, supported the top entrepreneur of Shiekh Bahaie Festival by granting an award including Pirooze Trophy, cash prize and a scholarship at the Iranian Business School.
